Expedition
LA PAZ – CHARAZANI – CURVA (3800 M)
Long journey towards the northern frontier. Charazani is the land of the Kallawayas (Andean healers). Overnight in Curva.
CURVA – INCACHANI CAMP (4000 M)
Start of the trek through remote valleys. Camp in the Incachani area.
INCACHANI – VISCACHANI PASS – SURAQA (4200 M)
Crossing the Viscachani pass (4800m). High mountain landscapes and vicuña spotting.
SURAQA – KATANTICA PASS – BASE CAMP (4400 M)
Ascent to Katantica pass (4900m) with views of Chaupi Orko. Base camp establishment.
SUMMIT DAY (6000 M)
Summit push for one of Apolobamba's giants. Pristine landscapes and absolute solitude.
BASE CAMP – CURVA
Return via an alternative route to the village of Curva.
CURVA – CHARAZANI – LA PAZ
Journey back to the city of La Paz. Farewell dinner.
LA PAZ – AIRPORT
Transfer to El Alto airport. End of the expedition.
