Timeline
ARRIVAL IN LA PAZ
Airport pickup and transfer to hotel (3640 masl). Personal equipment check.
LAKE TITICACA - SUN ISLAND
Travel to Copacabana and navigation to Sun Island. Mythological birthplace of the Incas.
COPACABANA - LA PAZ
Return to La Paz. Free afternoon for cable car ride.
REST DAY IN LA PAZ
Free day for recovery and logistics.
LA PAZ - PINAYA VILLAGE
Transfer to Pinaya village (3800 masl) at the foot of Illimani.
PINAYA - CONDORS NEST
Ascent to high camp Condors Nest (5450 masl). High altitude camp.
ILLIMANI SUMMIT (6438M)
Summit attack and descent to Pinaya village.
PINAYA - LA PAZ
Return transfer to La Paz and rest.
LA PAZ - SAJAMA VILLAGE
Travel across the highlands to Sajama National Park (4200 masl).
SAJAMA - HIGH CAMP
4x4 transfer and ascent to high camp (5700 masl) with porter assistance.
SAJAMA SUMMIT (6542M)
Summit attack of Boliva's highest volcano. Descent to hot springs.
SAJAMA - LA PAZ
Return to La Paz and souvenir shopping.
RETURN
Transfer to El Alto international airport. End of services.
