Expedition
HUARAZ (3100M) – CHOPICALQUI CURVE – MORAINE CAMP (4800M)
Transfer from Huaraz to the Chopicalqui curve. Start of the ascent to the moraine camp. Demanding approach day.
MORAINE CAMP (4800M) – HIGH CAMP (5480M)
Crossing the moraine and technical glacier section to reach the high camp. Preparation for the summit attack.
HIGH CAMP (5480M) – CHOPICALQUI SUMMIT (6354M)
Summit attack via the normal route. Spectacular views of the Cordillera Blanca. Descent to the moraine camp.
MORAINE CAMP (4800M) – CURVE – HUARAZ (3100M)
Final descent to the curve and return transport to Huaraz city.
